In-network means that your provider has negotiated a contracted rate with your health insurance company “In-network” health care providers have negotiated a contracted rate with your insurance provider. This usually allows them to charge cheaper rates for your services and bill your insurance provider directly for products or services. Go-Optic.com currently does not offer In-Network coverage.
Out of network simply means that the doctor or facility providing your care does not have a contract with your health insurance company. Out-of-Network providers will reimburse your personal expenses for items which are covered as long as their criteria is met.
If your insurance provider offers out-of-network benefits, you may use your online receipt to get reimbursed by your insurance company. Your out-of-network provider will request that you send them a reimbursement form and a copy of your purchase invoice/receipt. In some cases, the provider will also request that you provide your identification information to them. Be sure to check with the provider to make sure all information necessary is provided for a proper reimbursement. The provider will issue a reimbursement based on the coverage available. If you're unsure of the type of coverage available in your plan by your provider, you will have to contact your provider for details.
Your provider may requests that you provide CPT diagnostic codes for the items or services purchased. The health care provider may refuse a claim if these codes are not provided. In many cases, they will reach out to the service provider to verify the purchase and provide these codes, however, it is still recommended to have all of the information required for a claim.
